Fearless in the fight against children’s cancer.
The Azaylia Foundation aims to support families that are fundraising for treatments that may not be readily available on the NHS and provide children with memorable experiences as they fight cancer.Donate
Little Azaylia Diamond Cain lit the world up and gave people hope and inspiration during dark times of the pandemic.
Although her life was short, she left behind her a legacy of hope and a beacon of light which continues to burn bright today.
The torch is carried by her ever loving parents Ashley and Safiyya who harnessed the power and generosity of the incredible community which came together in support of ‘Little Lion’ Azaylia during her brave battle against children’s cancer.
Azaylia’s final chance of life lay in unique and revolutionary treatment not available on the NHS or anywhere in the UK.
Determined to pursue every avenue Ashley and Safiyya set out on a heroic fundraising campaign to meet huge costs of taking Azaylia for specialist treatment in Singapore.
The extraordinary positive power of social media led to the money being raised in just 24 hours.
The Azaylia Foundation pledge to continue to support and offer a chance of life to children fighting to beat the odds against cancer.
Capturing Azaylia’s spirit the foundation will work with the loving community to make a positive impact in the world. Specifically, the foundation will aim to provide funds to families fundraising for treatment not readily available on the NHS. It will also work with families to fund and deliver magical experiences aimed to bring positivity and smiles into their daily lives.
Money generously donated will also focus on educating parents and raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer and coping with diagnoses.
Safiyya’s purpose is to lead the charity in bringing light into places where darkness often threatens to prevail by giving magical experiences to children fighting cancer. She has also pledged to raise awareness amongst parents about children’s cancers.
Ashley’s and Safiyya’s initial appeal for funds raised an incredible £1.6m which now help more children like Azaylia. But this is just the start.
Ashley’s dedicated mission is to continue to provide funds, over and above those already raised through and epic series of fundraising events to help hundreds of children and their families
Starting 1st September 2021, in conjunction with Children’s Cancer Awareness month, Ashley will begin his first fundraiser - a 1,000 mile bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. You can follow his progress, donate to the bike ride and learn of future challenges on our social media accounts.
We started this together and, together, we WILL be fearless in the fight against children’s cancer.Donate
